Recruitment Policies and ProceduresAffirmative action is a commitment from an institution or business to comply with the intention of the current laws to offer equal opportunity and conditions to all employees and employment candidates. This purpose is achieved through the enforcement of an elaborate set of objectives and plans, which are designed to achieve a prompt and complete utilization of resources–such as minorities, women, people of all ages, disabled individuals, and Vietnam veterans–in all levels and areas of the work force in an institution or business.
