A second patent from the same former faculty member is pending for US Patent & Trademark Office approval.

• First formal research of the cultural landscapes comprised by the gardens at Casa Blanca, Ponce de Leon’s homestead in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

• Maunabo Tunnel.

• Nanosatellite Design – CubeSat project funded by NASA.

• First Electric Formula Car, and the only university in Puerto Rico that participated in the competition of Formula SAE Lincoln & Electric, Lincoln, Nebraska.

• Guanín I USLI, the first high potency rocket developed and launched by a university in Puerto Rico

• Landmine detector for NavSea.
• Analysis of Toyota plug-in hybrid electric vehicle.

• Energy conservation systems in a multinational company.

• Study used to develop Peninsula de Cantera community ecotourism project in the Guachininanga Islet
