Wilfredo Caparrós González - Assistant Professor
Professor Caparrós is a full time professor of the Business Administration Department in charge of the Management Information Systems program. He earned in 1968 his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Puerto Rico Río Piedras Campus. In 1999, he obtained his Masters Degree in Business Administration (MIS program) from the Sacred Heart University of Puerto Rico. The required thesis evaluated “El impacto del comercio electrónico en las agencias de viaje en Puerto Rico”.
Professor Caparrós brings to PUPR 24 years of experience in software development, office automation and information systems management from Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority.. He teaches 10 courses of the MIS program, where two of them are online. Due to the necessity to collaborate with his peers he served as facilitator for the training “Integración de contenido a un curso en Línea” celebrated in september 18, 2003 at PUPR.
He serves on the Puerto Rico Council for Higher Education as member of the advisory board that evaluates the progress report of the Bachelors Degree in Business Administration (MIS program) of the Inter American University, Barranquitas Campus.
