Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico, Orlando Campus is regionally accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (CHE/MSA) to award academic degrees. Currently, there are six regional accrediting bodies in the United States with each body representing various geographic regions. Each accrediting body is recognized by the Department of Education and have similar standards/ guidelines for accreditation. The Middle States Association (MSA) is responsible for accrediting colleges and universities throughout the northern region of the United States and Puerto Rico. Institutions such as Princeton, Rutgers, and Penn State maintain regional accreditation through MSA. Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico, Orlando Campus is considered a branch campus of Universidad Politecnica de Puerto Rico, therefore falling under the regional accreditation of MSA. www.msche.org/
