Research
My
main research interests are on web
technologies to support e-Learning and
Learning Objects. In particular the
embedding of Pedagogical Theories and
Instructional Design techniques into tools
for collaborative and concurrent authoring
of Learning Objects and similar e-Learning
contents.
In
addition I have interests on applications of
Database technologies for Data Warehouses,
Data Mining, Business Intelligence and
Decision Support Systems.
Also
as a result of my industrial background on
Hardware design and development I still
retain an interest on adaptable,
reconfigurable hardware and on the modeling
of hardware-software functional deployment
tradeoffs.
