Welcome to the Library of
Polytec Orlando. We invite you to visit us in person at the
campus or virtually.
Our main intention is to satisfy the needs of our students,
faculty, and staff.
In addition, we are a valuable resource for the community;
we support education, business, social, and cultural events.
Description:
The Library is located in the Administrative Office
building, and has a capacity for 20 students. Its collection
consists of Circulation, Reserve, and Reference areas; and
it offers Interlibrary Loans services, plus facilities for
individual study.
Mission:
Our mission is to offer the best information services to the
university community and support academic excellence in
order to develop skilled leaders that will be able to serve
the greater community of Orlando with competence.
SERVICES
Circulation:
Contains the General Collection of
Informational Resources organized according to the Library
of Congress catalog system. Users can locate and request
resources to use them outside the Library.
Reserve:
The Reserve Collection contains textbooks and
materials designated by the University faculty as required
reading for specific courses.
Reference:
The non-circulating collection includes
indexes, bibliographies, directories, and encyclopedias.
Assistance for all Reference Services is available from the
Circulation Desk most of the hours that the Library is open.
