Educational Objectives

 

Expected outcomes

  • Contribute to society with professionals that execute their work following the principles of moral conduct and ethics.
     

  • Generate graduates with the necessary knowledge and techniques to pursue education at a graduate level.
     

  • Generate graduates that can be employed and successfully work in a broad range of sub disciplines within the broad Geomatics field.
     

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the need for life-long learning via successful completion of continuous education courses in any Geomatic Science field.  

  • An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and Land Surveying or Geomatic Sciences.
     

  • An ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data.
     

  • An ability to formulate or design a system, process or program to meet desired needs.
     

  • An ability to function on multi-disciplinary teams.
     

  • An ability to identify and solve Land Surveying or Geomatic Sciences problems.
     

  • An understanding of professional and ethical responsibility.

  • The broad education necessary to understand the impact of Land Surveying and Geomatic Sciences solutions in a global and social context.
