The Digital Media Archive & Publications LAB facility houses 11 personal computer workstations (2 Mac Pro, 4 iMac, 2 Mac Book, 1 Pentium Linux, 5 Silicon Graphics), which are used by students for computer courses and as support for the academic and studio work. They are also used by students and professors for research in the fields of architecture, interaction design graphics, arts and digital technologies, in collaboration with the Computer Science and the Electrical Engineering Department. The Medialab also houses a computer server which hosts the School’s web page and the digital database of school projects, including the program’s memory, image library (using the former slide library resources). The facility also acts as a classroom for advanced research on software design, digital visualization and web page design.
