History

Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico (P.U.P.R.) is a private, not-for-profit, coeducational, nonsectarian institution founded in 1966. It offered only the technical courses in Land Surveying and Mapping until 1974, when PUPR became a degree granting institution and started offering two baccalaureate degrees. A list of all programs authorized thenceforth and the year it happened, organized in chronological order both for bachelor and master degrees is as follows.

  8. Bachelor of Business Administration in Construction Management (1996)
  9. Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering (1997)
  10. Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering (1997)
  11. Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting (2001)
  12. Bachelor of Administration in General Management (2001)
  13. Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems (2001), Postponed in April, 2008
  14. Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing (2001)
  15. Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance (2002), Postponed in August, 2005
